Valentine’s Masquerade Ball

The Valentine’s Day Masquerade Ball provided the perfect opportunity for students to meet a secret mysterious love in time for the much anticipated 14th February. BGP joined with other halls to meet at the beautifully converted 16th century church with authentic stained glass windows for a unique night of fun, music and mystery.

All students were provided with a beautiful Venetian mask to conceal their identity and provide an alluring atmosphere throughout the night. It felt very strange to be clubbing to party anthems whilst in a former house of God but nonetheless it was quite an experience.

For once it was the boys queuing for the toilets for hours and not the girls due to a flooding issue upstairs but other than that the venue was used to full effect.

Meeting new friends from other halls added to the night but of course BGP provided the largest numbers and the most memorable appearance.

Keep your eyes peeled for more events being organised by your JCR as 2013 is certainly going to be a BGP year to remember.
