What a way to finish the 12/13 academic year off!

Watch the video from Broadgatefest13 here:

Broadgatefest13 was Broadgate Park's first ever summer festival, an event organised by the Broadgate Park JCR and Warden.

Residents were getting excited days before the event when then red and yellow big top marquee went up outside the Warden's flat in Upper Court.

By the time 12noon came around on Saturday 15th June there was plenty to keep everyone entertained!  Throughout the day there were live music performances from three local Nottingham bands, the music could be heard across the whole of Upper Court which meant residents could lay on the grass soaking up the summer sun whilst still being able to take in the music.  With a giant inflatable slide, a surf board simulator and lots of party games there was something for everyone at Broadgatefest!

No stomach was left empty with free hog roast, ice cream and candy floss available throughout the day.

The first ever Broadgatefest went down a storm and we look forward to Broadgatefest14 next June!
